UPTET Important Dates 2023
The tentative publication date of UPTET Notification 2023 by the UP Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) is last week of August 2023. UPTET Eligibility Criteria 2023
- Age should be minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years
- Candidates must have a degree in any discipline (BA, B.Com., BBA, B.Sc., B.Tech. or BCA) from a recognized university with a minimum grade point average of 50%.
- UPTET 2023 exam will be conducted by the exam authority at multiple test venues across the state of Uttar Pradesh. On completing the application candidates will be able to select the exam centers where they want to appear for UPTET 2023.
- Information regarding the distribution of exam centers will be given in the UPTET 2023 admit card of the candidates.
Steps to Apply UPTET Notification 2023:
- Visit update.gov.in to view the official webpage.
- Select ‘UPTET’ and press ‘UPTET Registration’ button, then go to ‘Candidate Registration’ button.
- At the bottom of the page, after reading the instructions carefully, select the Declaration checkbox.
- After that click on the Apply Here option on the UPTET portal.
- Complete the registration form with all the requested information as shown in the table below.
- Upload the scanned copy of the documents and submit the fee for UPTET application.
UPTET Selection Process 2023
The formal notification marks the beginning of the UPTET selection process. The announcement is available in the form of a PDF file and contains all the necessary information such as application process, eligibility requirements, important dates, exam schedule and others.

UPTET Application Fee 2023
The UPTET application process is part of the second phase. In order to take the UPTET exam, candidates need to complete the UPTET Registration 2023. Candidates have to pay the application fee to successfully submit their application. The cost is Rs 100 for PwD, Rs 400 for SC/ST and Rs 600 for general category. UPTET Certificate 2023
All the qualified candidates for the exam will get the UPTET Eligibility Certificate. After one month of declaration of result, UPTET 2023 eligibility certificate will be sent. The Certificate of Eligibility is currently good for life.
Candidates will be able to apply for the post of teaching class 1 to 8 in schools of Uttar Pradesh with eligibility certificate. Candidates who meet the requirements will be required to present their Admit Card and photo ID to the District School Board to receive their eligibility certificate.
