OPSC MO Eligibility Criteria 2023

  • Educational qualification: Applicants must have MBBS degree from a recognized Medical College or University. Having a Post Graduate degree or Diploma in relevant specialization is advantageous.
  • Age Range: Generally the age limit is between 21 to 38 years. Candidates belonging to protected groups may be eligible for age relaxation as per law.

OPSC MO Selection Process 2023

A written test will be used to identify candidates for the Medical Officer posts in a phase one of the selection process. Candidates have to obtain minimum qualifying marks as prescribed by Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) to qualify the written test. A final selection list will be made on the basis of candidate’s performance in OPSC Medical Written Examination.

Applicants will be selected on the basis of written test which will consist of one paper for 200 marks. The test will take three hours and will consist of 200 questions of multiple choice question type, each carrying one mark. Negative marking will not be used for the written test. They called for re-checking of the paper work after the written test was over.
