The first two lines of the poem are full of very poignant experiences. The fog creates a picture of small children working on an unpaved road and creates compassion in the reader’s mind.
The poet believes that the horror of children going to work should not be written as a description and should be asked in the form of a question ‘Why are children going to work?’ In the poet’s view, why should questions be asked?
In the poet’s view, such questions should be asked because children naturally need to challenge, study and develop their lives, and that is also their moral right. Determined what are their reasons and strengths, they have been inspired by their natural life.

Children go to school on a foggy morning. Their parents drop them to school themselves or enroll them in the bus. I also want to study in some school. Try touching colorful books. But I have to contribute to my family’s shop to earn money. I get work while the child is going to school.
Why do you think children should not be sent to work? What should they plan to do?
Children should not focus on work to become good citizens. They should be challenged and given the opportunity to study. So that they can become capable in future.
