The Government of Telangana has launched the Telangana Griha Lakshmi Scheme for the Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. Under this scheme the government is going to give 3 lakh rupees To build houses for SC, ST and OBC women. Residents of Telangana who belong to BC, ST or SC are going to get Rs 3 Lakh benefits under Griha Lakshmi Yojana Telangana who are living in kutcha house they can submit the application to avail the benefits of the scheme . To avail the benefits of Griha Lakshmi Yojana in Telangana, one has to submit an application form at the Gram Sabha, Municipal Corporation, Mandal Office or Gram Panchayat. As of now there is no web-portal available for this newly launched scheme but it may happen in near future. Only women can avail the benefits, no application from men will be accepted, it is mandatory to have some necessary documents to apply for this scheme and get the benefits, details about which can be found below.

The beneficiary of Griha Lakshmi Yojana is going to get Rs 3 lakh in three installments of q lakh each as per the rule made by the Telangana government, the first installment of Rs 1 lakh will be transferred to the bank account of the beneficiary through direct benefit transfer. After basement construction second installment of Rs 1 lakh will be sent for roof and finally on completion of roof construction remaining Rs 1 lakh will be available as third installment for completion of house.

Telangana State Griha Lakshmi Scheme Application Form

The application form for Griha Lakshmi Yojana in Telangana cannot be submitted online through the webportal, to avail the scheme the eligible person has to visit the nearest Gram Sabha, Mandal Office, Gram Panchayat or Municipal Corporation and all necessary Documents to be submitted. You need to know that it usually takes up to four weeks for the application to be approved. Once it is approved by the government, the applicant will receive an SMS of confirmation on the submitted mobile number.
