Clinton Fellowship 2023-24: Clinton Fellowship, awarded to the AIF William J. Also known as the Clinton Fellowship, is a program funded by the American India Foundation that provides young individuals the opportunity to pursue an extensive volunteer service program. Clinton Fellowship Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must ensure that they fulfill the following criteria to be considered eligible for the fellowship:
- Candidates must be Indian or US citizens.
- Candidates must have completed their undergraduate or higher degree on or before September 1, 2024.
- Candidates age should be between 21 to 34 years as on 1st September 2024.

Selected fellows are also eligible for two weeks leave
- Applicable during the ten month fellowship
- Fellows with Saturday working days will be eligible for 20 days leave.
- Please note, approval from the host organization is also required.
Clinton Fellowship Responsibilities
Selected fellows will work with partner organizations of the American India Foundation. Responsibilities include meeting project and human resource requirements through skill building and sharing, training and capacity development.
Other responsibilities include program design and implementation, monitoring and evaluation, formulation of business plans and strategies, action research and communications.

As a part of the application process, candidates are required to write an essay on the following topics

- Candidates must also declare any professional skills, language skills and personal details.
- Candidates are also required to attach their Resume/CV – Please ensure that the file is attached in PDF format and the maximum size should not exceed 3 MB.
- Candidates must also attach two references and their contact details. However, AIF strongly prefers three recommendations to better understand the capabilities of the applicant.
- Preference for interview venue. (Either Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai or Chennai).

Clinton Fellowship Selection Process and Selection Criteria
Selection Process
- Initially, applications are screened and examined by AIF personnel and other stakeholders from India as well as the US.
- Grades are given on the basis of a numerical scale and candidates who pass the criteria proceed to the next process – the interview.
- Selected candidates will have to appear for Skype interview with AIF personnel.
- Candidates who are successful in the Skype interview round will proceed for personal interview.
